The Harvard Architecture Review began in 1980. It was published by Rizzoli in New York and later Princeton Architectural Press. Notable contributors included figures such as Frank Gehry, Tadao Ando, and Renzo Piano. The final issue, 10, appeared in 1998.  The publication was succeeded in 1997 by Harvard Design Magazine, a biannual publication covering architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning and design.
