Building Age started in 1910 as a renaming of Carpentry and Building. It incorporated The Builder’s Journal in 1922 and was briefly published with both names. By 1924, it was known as Building Age and National Builder and had also incorporated National Builder and Permanent Builder. It combined with American Builder in 1930 to become American Builder and Building Age.
